Problem Statement

Majority of users are mostly concerned about the use of technology in getting their accurate measurements and also being unable to adequately express what they need, customers hardly use the current website to subscribe to the services offered and would rather speak with someone via WhatsApp or Phone Call or In-person.

The challenges can be further broken down into

1.     Due to the nature of service, despite the love for convenience and shopping online, customers do not want 100% automation. They still want a level of interaction with whoever is offering the service.

2.    Users complain of navigation issues when using current website.

3.    Customers prefer to have a recorded visual aid or live video on how to self-measure, the visual aids must consume less data and must be mobile friendly

4.    Recurrent customers are unable to access their previous data and orders. The current site does not store past order information

Scope of work

1.    Create an attractive landing page that gives a full view of the website and allows for easy navigation.

2.    Create an ordering platform that give users an experience similar to visiting a tailor’s shop physically

3.    Add a blogging section to website to promote SEO

4.    Ensure the website is mobile friendly as most visitors are on mobile.

Majority of the users are male, based in Lagos, working class and they visit the website on mobile more.

Listening to customers is very important. You should also consider what your competition is doing while trying to implement a project. Not every idea that seems cool can be forced down the throat of your customer. As much as marble stitches will love to automate it’s processes using technology, the users still want some form of human interaction.
